Terms and Conditions
Payment Once you have decided
to proceed with an order, the following payment terms are applicable:-1) an order where the production date assigned is less than 3 months - full amount due at time
of placing an order 2) an order
where the production date assigned is more than 6 months – 50% deposit 3) the balance of the order must be paid 4 weeks prior
to production by cheque payable to “Carol Miller Designs”
Producing
your Order Work will not begin on
your order under any circumstance until signed paperwork and a proof (if applicable) have been received.Once an order has been placed, a production date for each stage of
the order will be given to you. These dates must be strictly adhered to, as other clients must be taken into consideration.
Where lead times are given this commences
from receipt of payment
Where Names are being used, e.g.
place cards and table plans, names must be sent by email to ensure correct spellings.
Proofreading Whilst every pre-caution is taken to ensure all information is correct, it is your final responsibility
as a client to proof read and check through the wording/dates.By signing all documentation, you are agreeing that all documents have been proof read.
Making Changes to an existing Order If changes are made to an order (for example changing the order of
names on a table plan, after the final draft has been submitted) where the work has already taken place, an admin charge of
£15 will be made in addition to labour/materials charge at cost of £7.50 per half hour.
Cancelling an Order Once a booking has been confirmed and a deposit/full amount has been paid, a
monetary refund cannot be given if the order is later cancelled. If an order is cancelled part way
through production, you are liable to pay for all work completed up to that date if it exceeds the deposit amount.
Delivery All mainland UK orders under £39.00 in value are sent by First class recorded delivery.
Orders over £39.00
are sent Royal Mail Special Next Day and will need to be signed for. Up to 1Kg £7.00
Up to 2 Kg £9.05
Over 2 Kg and up to 10 Kg
£22.70
Errors, Returns & Damages In the unlikely event that an error has occurred, please notify me as soon as possible by telephone so that
the situation can be corrected with immediate effect.There are no refunds offered on surplus invitations, reply cards and thank you cards. Refunds only given
on damaged items. No refund given on personalised items. Any damages which have occurred during delivery must be reported immediately.
